Charity joined the 1911 Trust Company in July 2022. With over 12 years of experience, she's been serving clients as a trusted tax advisor for both single and multi-family offices. In her role as the Tax Director, she oversees the company's tax service function and advises clients on strategies to minimize income, gift and estate taxes. Charity's areas of expertise include tax planning, consulting and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, private foundations and family-owned businesses.

Background

Prior to joining 1911 Trust, Charity was an International Tax Director at Beacon Trust Company, where she focused on U.S. international tax compliance for high-net-worth individuals and related entities. Prior to that, Charity served as a tax manager at a boutique multi-family office in Boston. Charity earned her B.S. in accounting from Missouri State University and holds master's degrees in both Taxation and Accountancy from Bentley University. She is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts and a Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA).

Away from the office

Charity resides in Winchester, MA with her husband and two young children. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering at her kids' schools, travelling, yoga and spending time with her family.
