Lei manages the firm's core equity portfolio as well as the firm's Quality Equity Fund. She conducts equity research, makes buy/sell recommendations, and conducts tax-efficient portfolio management. As a member of the firm's Investment Committee, Lei prepares presentation materials as well as attending committee meetings and the firm's market review meetings. She publishes quarterly market commentaries and provides assessments of global economic and market conditions.

Background

Lei is an investment professional with extensive knowledge in equity research and portfolio management. She is experienced in both high-net-worth and institutional investment management. Lei was the AVP/primary equity analyst at Rockland Trust, where she conducted security analysis for the firm's quality large cap composite. She was previously a Financial Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Lei earned her bachelor's degree from Beijing Polytechnic University and a master's from Virginia Tech. She is a CFA charter holder and a CFP® certificant, as well as holds designations as a Certified Financial Risk Manager and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Lei is a member of the CFA Institute, the Boston Security Analysts Society, the Global Association of Risk Professionals, and the CAIA association.

Away from the office

Having lived extensively on both sides of the globe, Lei cultivated a deep understanding of various cultures and societies. She keeps an exercise regimen and is a fan of CXWORX. She enjoys cooking, taking day trips to the beach and mountains in New England, various genres of music, and art appreciation.
