As the Director of Finance for the 1911 Trust, Lisa is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day trust accounting and operations, partnership and tax accounting for alternative investments, fund-of-fund accounting, and reporting.
Background
Lisa joined the 1911 Trust in 2006, bringing 7 years of public accounting experience in audit and tax functions. During this time, she worked with small business owners, gaining tax and accounting experience with S corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. In addition to public accounting, she held a senior accounting position at May Department Stores, where she oversaw the day-to-day accounting, which included planning, forecasting, and administering over $100 million in annual expenses and ensuring balance sheet items complied with GAAP.
Lisa received a BS in Accounting from Merrimack College and holds the Professional Certification of Certified Public Account (CPA). She stays connected to the accounting profession as a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs and an American member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA). She is dedicated to honing her skills and expertise to support the team and better serve the clients.
Away from the office
Lisa resides in Danvers with her husband, Bob, and their two sons, Tyler and Charlie. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family. As a mother of two boys, she actively supports them in their athletic and academic pursuits. She also loves being outdoors and staying active by running, biking, and going for long walks.
